Devon Kerr, a senior goalkeeper on the Ohio State women’s soccer team, is set to graduate with a degree in sport industry Sunday at the Schottenstein Center.
Kerr, the 2018 Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year, first team All-Big Ten selection and TopDrawerSoccer.com third team All-American, concluded her Buckeye career third in Ohio State history with 19 shutouts and a 0.82 goals-against average. As a senior, she tied for third in the Big Ten with eight shutouts while ranking fourth with an .826 save percentage and a 0.78 goals-against average this season. Kerr, who also earned United Soccer Coaches second team All-North Region and first team Scholar All-North-Central Region honors, is a three-time Academic All-Big Ten pick and OSU Scholar-Athlete.
A native of Barrie, Ontario, Kerr will try to continue her soccer career after graduation. She is entered in the 2019 NWSL Draft, which takes place Jan. 10, and is interested in possibly playing overseas.
