COLUMBUS, Ohio – Lexi Edwards, Alexis Hankins, Colby Miller and Nicole Riccardi of the No. 16 Ohio State women’s gymnastics team have earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors, the conference announced Tuesday. In addition, Sydney Jennings was named the Buckeyes’ Sportsmanship Award winner.
Edwards, a junior from Richmond, Va., has won seven event titles this season, including three on vault and floor and one on uneven bars. She has hit her season-high of 9.875 three times on the year and reached a career-high 9.925 on bars and floor.
Hankins has earned two event titles in 2022, one on floor and another on beam. The sophomore hit a career-high on floor at Nebraska with a 9.925. Her beam title score of 9.900 was also a career-high, which she has recorded twice this season.
Miller has reached career-high marks on both vault and uneven bars this season for the Buckeyes. A senior and native of Mason, Ohio has earned six bars titles this season, including three of 9.925 scores and one 9.950.
Jennings is a five-time vault title winner this year, hitting a career-high 9.250 against Kent State and Eastern Michigan.
Ohio State is set to host the 2022 Big Ten Championships next week on Saturday, March 19. The meet will be two sessions, with six teams competing in the morning and four teams, including the Buckeyes, competing in the evening.
