Five More Buckeyes Selected in Rds. 2/3 of NFL Draft

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Five more Ohio State Buckeyes were selected in the 2021 NFL Draft Friday evening, giving the Ohio State program a run of eight consecutive drafts with at least five players selected. The five join quarterback Justin Fields as NFL Draft picks. Fields went in the first round Thursday, No. 11 overall, to the Chicago Bears.
Linebacker Pete Werner was the first Buckeye off the board, going No. 60 overall and a second-round pick of the New Orleans Saints.
Two picks later, with pick No. 62, the Green Bay Packers selected Josh Myers. And then in the third round, with the 86th overall pick, the Minnesota Vikings selected offensive guard Wyatt Davis. And two picks after that, at No. 88, the San Francisco 49ers selected running back Trey Sermon.
Baron Browning was then the last pick of the third round, No. 105 overall, to the Denver Broncos.
