COLUMBUS, Ohio — Channing Chasten has signed on to play professionally with Phoenix Rising FC, the club announced Tuesday.
Chasten, a native of Queen Creek, Arizona, completed his junior season with the Buckeyes last fall.
In three seasons at Ohio State, Chasten played in 40 games at forward. He finished with a goal and five assists for seven career points for the Buckeyes.
He started 15-of-16 games as a junior and recorded 1,128 minutes of playing time. He scored in a 1-all tie against Creighton and all three assists on the year were in Ohio State wins, including a 2-1 victory over Michigan Oct. 26, 2021.
