Buckeyes Sweep MIVA Weekly Awards

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Samuel Clark was named Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Offensive Player of the Week, his second this season, while Noah Platfoot earned defensive player of the week honors Tuesday after the Buckeyes opened the MIVA season 2-0 last week.
Clark led the Buckeyes with 35 kills while hitting .387 in a 3-1 win over McKendree and a 3-0 sweep of Lewis. Both matches were in Columbus.
Clark added an ace, 12 digs and two blocks while recording 37 total points on the weekend.
Platfoot led Ohio State with 23 digs and 81 assists while totaling four blocks.
