NASSAU, Bahamas – The Ohio State women’s golf team shot even-par to finish 12th on its final day of competition at the White Sands Invitational. The 288 team score on the final day marked the Buckeyes’ best round of the tournament.
Sophomore Aneka Seumanutafa paced the Buckeyes all three days of the tournament at the Ocean Club Golf Course. Her final round 2-under 70 earned her 11th place in an 82-competitor field at 3-under for the tournament.

Individual Kristin Jamieson carded a 1-over-par 73 in the final round and held on to her 34th-place finish. The freshman shot a 5-over-par 221 at the tournament, which is a career- and season-best.
Senior Adeena Shears carded an even-par 72 to also finish in a tie for 34th while sophomore Skylar Thompson shot a 2-over 74, which landed her in a tie for 59th. Fellow sophomore Lauren Peter also carded a 74 on the last round of 18 to end up in a tie for 63rd. Junior Sofia Seldemirova shot even-par the final round to wrap up the Buckeye competitors.

The White Sands Invitational wrapped up the fall season for the Ohio State women’s golf team. The Buckeyes will return to action Feb. 9-11, 2020 when they host the Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif.
