COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference announced the second part of the men’s hockey schedule Friday. Ohio State is slated for 10 home games and 10 road games in 2021 leading up to the Big Ten Tournament.
The Buckeyes’ 2021 slate kicks off with home games against Penn State Jan. 8-9, followed by back-to-back road series at Michigan Jan. 15-16 and at Michigan State Jan. 23-24. Home series against Minnesota Jan. 29-30 and Notre Dame Feb. 5-6 are next before two road games at Penn State Feb. 12-13. The regular season slate closes with home series vs. Michigan Feb. 19-20 and Arizona State March 4-5 wrapped around a road matchup with Wisconsin Feb. 26-27. The Big Ten Tournament will be held March 18-20 at a still to be announced location.
Broadcast and game time information will be announced at a later date.
The No. 18-ranked Buckeyes are 3-5-1 overall and 3-5-0-0-1-0 in Big Ten play. So far this season the squad split conference series with Michigan State, Wisconsin and Notre Dame and dropped two games at league leader Minnesota.
Ohio State wraps up the 2020 portion of its schedule at 5:30 p.m. tonight (Friday) when it takes on Arizona State in Value City Arena. The game will be streamed through BTN Plus and on Ohio State Radio. The Buckeyes and Sun Devils tied 4-4 Thursday.
