Ohio State Career Stats and Game Highs
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s lacrosse team, 3-0 on the year, is headed west for two games this weekend, as it will take on No. 12 Denver (3-0) Friday and Colorado (2-0) Sunday, with both contests starting at 3 p.m. ET. Both games will be streamed, with live stats available.

Buckeyes vs. Pioneers
- Ohio State is 3-0 all-time against Denver, with the three games from 1999-01.
- The teams first met in Columbus April 25, 1999, a 26-10 Ohio State victory. The next year, the Buckeyes won 19-5 on the road and March 23, 2001, Denver came back to Columbus, with Ohio State posting a 16-3 victory.
- The Pioneers, a member of the Big East, are 3-0 this season. The team opened the year with a 19-9 home win over Louisville. Denver then went 2-0 on a trip to California, defeating Stanford 8-6 and California 15-5 last weekend.
Buckeyes vs. Buffs
- Ohio State and Colorado have never met on the lacrosse field.
- The Buffs, part of the Pac-12, started the year 2-0, defeating Louisville in Boulder 14-13 in overtime before a road win at Harvard, 12-6, last Sunday.

- The Buckeyes are 3-0 this season, with home wins over Robert Morris (17-5) and Marquette (18-11) sandwiched around a midweek road win over Cincinnati (18-9).
- Ohio State is sixth nationally in scoring offense, averaging 17.67 goals per game and is ninth in scoring margin (+9.33). The team is fifth in shots per game (38.0) and 10th in shots on goal per contest (27.0). The defense is ranked 23rd, allowing 8.33 goals per game.
Individually …
- Nicole Ferrara and Jamie Lasda lead the Buckeyes with eight goals and 12 points each and share the assist lead with Clare Johnston with four each.
- Lindsay Epstein, Ali Beekhuizen and Caly O’Brien are tied for third with six goals each.
- Chloe Johnson leads the squad and is among the NCAA leaders with 28 draw controls.
- Jane Cowley has a team-best seven ground balls and five caused turnovers.
- Johnson now has 113 draw controls as a Buckeye, three back of Baley Parrott (2016-19) for sixth in school history. Johnson had 11 draw controls in the season opener vs. Robert Morris, 10 against Cincinnati and seven vs. Marquette.
- Regan Alexander was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week Tuesday after 20 saves and two wins last week. She is second in the country with a .622 save percentage and 10th with a 7.32 goals-against average.
- Four Buckeyes enter the weekend on scoring streaks of three games or better – Beekhuizen (9 games, 13g, 3a, 16p), Ferrara (8 games, 24g, 7a, 31p), Epstein (8 games, 15g, 6a, 21p) and Lasda (4 games, 9g, 4a, 13p).
- Each of those four Buckeyes have at least two goals in the first three games of the year. O’Brien and Jamie Level both have two multiple-goal outings this year.
Eyes on the Buckeyes
- The Big Ten announced the league television schedules this week.
- The Buckeyes are slated for three games on BTN – at No. 10 Michigan April 8 and at home vs. No. 5 Maryland April 17 and No. 14 Rutgers April 28.
- Ohio State also will appear on ESPNU April 23 at No. 24 Johns Hopkins and on ACC Network March 31 at Louisville.
- The Buckeyes’ remaining home games will be streamed through Big Ten Plus. The team will host No. 18 James Madison March 4, Mount Saint Mary’s March 12, Marist March 15 and Penn State March 26.
- A March 9 game at Duquesne will be streamed through ESPN+ and the March 19 game at No. 6 Northwestern will be on B1G+.
The Schedule Ahead
- The Buckeyes will return home to host No. 13 James Madison at 3 p.m. March 4, with the game expected to be played outdoors in Ohio Stadium.
