COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Buckeye women’s hockey team is set to play on national television this month, the WCHA announced Wednesday. The Sunday, Oct. 24 game in the road series between Ohio State and Wisconsin will air on the Big Ten Network at 3 p.m. CT/4 p.m. ET in Madison, Wisc.
Ohio State and Wisconsin are two of the four WCHA programs ranked in the top 10 of the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine and USCHO polls. The Buckeyes remain at No. 3 for the third consecutive week while the Badgers continue to hold on to the top spot in both polls. Facing off against Wisconsin for the 101st and 102nd time in series history in two and a half weeks, Ohio State is 6-12-4 against the Badgers since the 2016-17 season.
The Buckeyes return to action next week, hosting Bemidji State Oct. 15 and 16 at the OSU Ice Rink. The team then travels to Wisconsin the following week for its second road trip of the season.
