COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State is well representing in the preseason ITA Rankings which were released on Tuesday. Five Buckeyes find themselves ranked in the singles rankings and a pair of Buckeye doubles teams are in the doubles rankings.
Ohio State is one of just four programs with five singles players ranked in the preseason Top 125 and the only with two in the Top 10. Senior Cannon Kingsley is ranked No. 3 and junior JJ Tracy is ranked No. 8. Behind those two, James Trotter finds himself ranked No. 33 while Robert Cash is No. 81 and Justin Boulais is ranked No. 84.
In doubles, Cash and Boulais start the year ranked No. 12 while Trotter and Andrew Lutschaunig check in at No. 43. Cash was a doubles All-American last season and finished the year ranked No. 1 in the country. Boulais was ranked No. 2 for a large portion of the season last year as well.
