Quotable
On going into his fifth fall camp …
“I think a danger with any football team is complacency. To feel like you don’t need to go out there and give everything because you have another practice coming in a couple days. We just have to focus and as leaders and seniors. We just have to be able to say this is what matters. This practice right here. This workout right here is what makes us better.”
On camp competition …
“Here at Ohio State, you are going to have competition. If you relax, you will see in the film room that guy behind you is going to be working hard trying to get some playing time. So, that will keep you on your toes.”
On Ohio State being “hated” across the country …
“That is just a sign of succcess. This university has been successful for many years. A lot of people envy that. They might be sick of us in the championship game, but that is what we want. That is what we are expecetd to do here.”
