Ohio State — Penn State a primetime matchup? There’s no question. For the fourth-consecutive season, the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions will meet under the lights and we’re set to get you primed for Saturday night in The Shoe…
IN-GAME
A special theme will overtake Ohio Stadium Saturday for the 30th all-time meeting between PSU and OSU — DARK NIGHT IN THE SHOE. The Buckeyes will don special uniforms and helmets, predominant in black with bright scarlet numerals accented with a luminescent silver trim. The helmets will be flat black and feature white and scarlet striping. The contrast with the Penn State all-white uniforms should serve as a visual spectacle.
Breaks in the action will be jam packed Saturday as a special recognition will take place during the first quarter honoring a Buckeye head coach who became the all-time wins leader at Ohio State in his sport in 2015. We’ll let you guess and discover the honoree Saturday evening.
In addition, Ohio State legends will return for their 60th team reunion as the 1955 Big Ten Champion Buckeyes, led by Heisman Trophy winner Howard “Hopalong” Cassady, will return to The Shoe for recognition in the second quarter.
Following a primetime performance of `Sloopy’ by TBDBITL, stay in your seats to cheer for your 2015 NCAA Champion Wrestling Buckeyes as the team will be saluted between the third and fourth quarters.
