2022-23 (Sophomore Season)
- 58-31 in dual matches, ranking fourth among Buckeye women in wins
- Opened year 14-0 at the OSU Duals and as a semifinalist at the OSU Open
- 11-2 at CCFC team championships, helping Buckeye women to team and foil crowns; 11 wins was first for the Scarlet and Gray on the day
- Earned Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, Academic All-Big Ten and Ohio State Scholar-Athlete accolades and was a USFCA Scholar of Distinction
2021-22 (Freshman Season)
- Eighth-place finish at NCAA Regionals
- Second Team All-CCFC
- 49 dual match wins to rank second on the women’s foil squad, including seven victories at CCFC Championships
- Placed seventh at OSU Open
- Buckeyes won CCFC women’s team title and league foil crown
- An Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and USFCA Distinguished Scholar honoree
Prior to Ohio State
- Fenced with Renaissance Fencing Club/Mission Fencing Center
- 2019-2020 Cadet Travel Team
- Finished ninth at Manchester ECC
- Competed with Team USA at 2019 Maccabi Games, playing third in junior women’s foil, fifth in open women’s foil and first in senior team women’s foil
- Graduated with highest honors and was a First Team All-American and Second Team All-Academic
- AP Scholar Award winner
- Student Council Senator, Russian Club President and member of school board’s Women’s Empowerment organization
Personal
- Daughter of Alan and Beth, who played field hockey at Central Michigan
- Has a younger brother, Sammy, who is also on the Buckeye fencing team
- Psychology major
- Plays guitar and ukulele and enjoys hiking and exploring new areas, hammocking, traveling, listening to music, spending quality time with friends and family, going to Target, reading and doing arts and crafts
- Got into fencing after her younger brother saw it on the Olympics when he was 4 and knew he wanted to fence, so he started at Mission Fencing Center when he was 6; after a couple of years, when he was 8 and she was 10, she decided to try fencing because she was bored always sitting there just watching and fell in love with the intellectual and physical combination of the sport
- She and her brother have been live-in training partners, which has been very beneficial, especially during the pandemic
- Grew up speaking both Spanish and English in the house
- Loved summer camp and youth group and was president of a national youth group region
