Went undefeated at OSU Duals, registering six points … earned 10 wins at Elite Invitational Duals … claimed 13 wins at St. John’s Invitational Duals … earned a season-best 16 victories at Northwestern Duals … finished in first place at MFC Championships earning an individual title … helped the women’s epee unit to a second place finish in team competition at the event … claimed first place at the NCAA Midwest Regional to earn a fourth NCAA Championship bid… tied for 3rd and recorded 19 wins at the 2017 NCAA Championships.
Junior Season (2015-2016)
Competed at OSU Open, Elite Invitational and Northwestern Duals … claimed first place at the OSU Open … registered a season-high 19 wins at Northwestern Duals … earned an 11-5 record at the Elite Invitational … finished in third place at the Garret Penn State Open … took second place at the NCAA Midwest Regional, qualifying for NCAA Championships … finished in third place at her third appearance at NCAA Championships, her highest finish to date … OSU Scholar Athlete.
Sophomore Season (2014-2015)
Led the women’s epee unit with a 68-17 bout-record for the year … went 23-1 at OSU Duals … continued with winning records at OSU Invitational, St. John’s Invitational, NYU Invitational, and Northwestern Duals … earned a gold medal at the Garret Penn State Open … claimed first place at Midwest Regionals … finished in eighth place at NCAA Championships … OSU Scholar Athlete.
Freshman Season (2013-2014)
Finished fourth at Midwest Regionals to qualify for 2014 NCAA Fencing Championships where she finished 22nd…earned a ninth place finish at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships…OSU Scholar Athlete.
Prior to Ohio State
Competed with the Italian National Team from 2010 to 2013 … earned a bronze medal with the women’s epee team at the 2013 World Championships in Porec, Croatia.
Personal
Daughter of Cristina Cordsen and Luca Falqui … has two sisters, Camilla and Giulia … majoring in photography … enjoys taking photos, watching movies and traveling.
