OHIO STATE SWIMMING HIGH PERFORMANCE CLINICS
These sessions are targeted towards competitive swimmers that are competing regularly and have USA Swimming Motivational A time standards for their age group or faster. These clinics are excellent opportunities for groups to come from the same club, or individuals wanting to attend on their own. Classroom sessions will be held before each aquatic session to review current best technique and practices, as well as talks by the Buckeyes High Performance Circle from Strength and Conditioning, Nutrition, Athletic Training, and Mental Preparation and Resiliency, and how to find a place to swim in college. All of our sessions will be led by current full time Ohio State Coaches and assisted by current and former student athletes and coaches.
Each clinic will have two water sessions per day that will involve training and technique. Athletes will be grouped according to age and ability. Lunch will be provided. Immediate video feedback will be available at each session from our 5 above and underwater Sideline Scout Camera Systems.
Training sessions will include sessions on resistance in the water training using Power Towers, stretchcords, and drag sox; underwater kicking technique and power development; race pace training; race strategy; best techniques and breathing strategies for racing; starts and turns.

If you register before January 1st you will receive a $50 off Holiday discount!
All participants will receive an Ohio State T-shirt and an Ohio State Swim Cap. In addition, campers will have the opportunity to win daily speedo prizes. There is a maximum number of campers (50) permitted in each clinic, so register early! Full payment is required at the time of registration for each session. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps-and-clinics. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations. There will be no walk-ups permitted for this camp, all participants must register in advance.
Discounts
Holiday Discount: If you register in the month of December you will receive $50 off each registration for our June Camps.
Team Discount Program: Receive $50 off per camper for teams sending 5 or more campers to any June Camp.
Returning Camper Discount: Receive $75 off registration for our June Camps for any camper who has been to any Gold Medal Clinics within the past year.
*Only one discount may be used per camper
If you are eligible for a discount you will register in full online now. After the camp date we will refund you the amount of your discount.
Equipment
All campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment. Full Mesh bags recommended.
Meals and Housing
Lunch will be provided all 3 days. Campers are encouraged to bring snacks and their own refillable water bottle.
Required Forms for Participation
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Campers will not be permitted to participate without these forms.
Confirmation
Once your registration is approved, you will be emailed with a confirmation of payment notice. One week prior to camp, you will also be sent an email with important camp details. This information will also be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Please check your email regularly as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.

Refunds
A refund less a $30 administration fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. The administration fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.
Because we have to guarantee the number of campers in order to prepare for each clinic, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of each session will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.
A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and submitted by mail, email, or fax – no phone calls or voicemails. All supporting documentation required for a refund to be approved and processed must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps-and-clinics. Campers who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.
