OHIO STATE SWIMMING RESIDENT & COMMUTER CAMP
Please Note: You can now no longer register as an overnight camper, but spots are still available as a commuter.
Athletes are suggested to have USA Swimming Motivational Times in the "A" category or faster for their age group and be able to race in all four competitive strokes legally.
These camps will be a resident camp on campus at Ohio State University. Campers will have a 1-10 counselor/coach ratio and have dorm supervision. Athletes will walk back and forth to the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
Camps will be technique oriented, with a training and technique session every day. Each day will focus on a different competitive stroke, as well as a session on underwater kicking, and there will be sessions on starts and turns. Campers can expect video feedback every session from our 5 underwater and above camera units from Sideline Scout.
Camp sessions will all be led and coached by Ohio State's Professional Coaching Staff, and assisted by current and former collegiate athletes.
Campers can also expect the following sessions to be included:
* Nutrition Talk
* Strength Essentials, Activation, and Recovery Talk from our Strength and Conditioning and Athletic Training Staff
* Motivation and Goal setting - OSU Coaches and Athletes
* Campus Tour
Each athlete will receive a camp t shirt, swim cap and a water bottle.
An outstanding motivational and instructional opportunity led by a Top 10 Coaching staff, taking place in one of the best aquatic facilities in the USA as well as being on campus at one of the most recognized Universities in the world.
