If registering by mail, please make checks payable to The Ohio State University. Any non-scholastic group of 5 or more that wishes to pay with one check for the entire group must do so ahead of time via mail. Any non-scholastic organization with a group of 5 or more registering the day of the camp must pay with credit card. No exceptions will be made.
Discount
Siblings who register for camp are eligible to receive the sibling discount rate at $575 (overnight camper) or $505 (day camper) per registration. Equipment
All campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment. Campers should bring with them, but are not limited to, the following items: Pillow, bedding, towels, toiletries, shorts, shirts, socks, tennis shoes, turf shoes, shin guards, mouth guard, stick and a water bottle. No equipment will be provided to ANY camper.
Meals and Housing
Housing will be provided for overnight campers on July 23rd and July 24th in an OSU dorm room. All meals will be covered by camp starting with dinner on July 23rd through breakfast on July 25th (Commuter campers will eat the lunch and dinners that take place during camp). Please indicate any food allergies or restrictions when registering online.
Roommate Preference
Roommate assignments will be released at check-in. Each camper has the opportunity to request one roommate on their camp application. Such roommate requests will only be approved if BOTH persons request each other as roommates. While we do our best to accommodate each camper’s request, we do not guarantee that roommate requests will be granted. Please note that both roommates must be formally enrolled in the camp in order for such roommate requests to be considered. There will be two campers in a room. We are not able to accommodate any roommate request submitted within 14 days of camp.
Required Forms for Participation
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Campers will not be permitted to participate without these forms.
Confirmation
Once your registration is approved, you will be emailed with a confirmation of payment notice. One week prior to camp, you will also be sent an email with important camp details. This information will also be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps-and-clinics. Please check your email regularly as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.
Refunds
A refund less a $50 administration fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. The administration fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.
Because we have to guarantee the number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of each session will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required. In this case you will receive a refund less a $50 administration fee for commuter campers and less a $100 administration fee for overnight campers.
A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and received by phone or email. All refund requests and supporting documentation must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps-and-clinics. This form is found on the homepage all the way at the bottom in red letters “Request a Refund”. Campers who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.
