COLUMBUS, Ohio – Seven current members of the Ohio State football team were among 49 Ohio State student-athletes to receive their degrees in commencement exercises today at the Jerome Schottenstein Center.
The Buckeyes, preparing for their Dec. 31 College Football Playoff semifinal against No. 1 Georgia, will have a bowl game roster that includes 20 graduates.
Leading the way today is consensus All-American offensive tackle Paris Johnson, who graduated in just three years with his degree in journalism.
Two-time team captain and Block O jersey honoree Kam Babb added a Master’s degree in kinesiology to the communications degree he had previously received. Babb has come back from four knee surgeries to be a leader on this team. He was awarded the Block O in honor of Ohio State great Bill Willis, who stood for toughness, accountability and the highest of character.
