Mike Conley (6’1”-PG-87, graduated ’07, plays in the NBA) Despite Conley’s 31 points, the Memphis Grizzlies (18-20) lost 100-109 in Brooklyn to the Nets. He also added 4 steals. Conley is averaging 19.9ppg, 3.5rpg, 6.3apg and 1.3spg in 36 games he played so far. – ALL-STAR VOTE
D’Angelo Russell (6’5”-SG-96, graduated ’15, plays pro in the NBA) Despite scoring 33 points, the Brooklyn Nets (19-21) were defeated 100-87 on the road by the Charlotte Hornets. Russell was the top scorer in the game. He also added 4 rebounds (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 34 minutes. Russell averages 18.0ppg, 3.8rpg, 6.3apg and 1.2spg this season. – ALL-STAR VOTE
Evan Turner (6’7”-G/F) Portland Trail Blazers – couldn’t help the Portland Trail Blazers in their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA. He recorded 6 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists in 24 minutes in a 11-109 loss. Turner is posting 7.6ppg, 4.8rpg and 3.9apg this season.

Aaron Craft (6’2”-PG-91, graduated ’14, plays pro in Italy) contributed to a Dolomiti En. TR‘s victory against the closely-ranked Virtus Bologna 71-65 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday night. He recorded 9 points, 3 assists and 3 steals. This year Craft averages 9.5ppg, 3.9rpg, 5.1apg and 2.4spg in eight games.
Othello Hunter (6’8”-C-86, graduated ’08, plays pro in Russia) was not able to secure a victory for CSKA (11-5) in their game last Friday. Despite Hunter’s good performance CSKA was defeated 96-84 in Athens by the much lower-ranked Panathinaikos (#11). He scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in a mere 17 minutes. The Regular Season already ended in the Euroleague. This season Hunter averages 8.4ppg and 4.2rpg. He is a naturalized Liberian.
DeShaun Thomas (6’7”-PF-91, graduated ’13, currently in Greece) was the major contributor in Panathinaikos‘ victory against the fifth-ranked Promitheas (7-4) 86-69 in the Greek A1 last Sunday. Thomas scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 22 minutes. Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens (10-0) is placed first in the A1. So far his team won all ten games in the Regular Season. It’s Thomas’ first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 12.1ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.1apg.
Amedeo Della Valle (6’4”-SG-93, graduated ’14, plays in Italy) couldn’t help AX Armani Exchange Milano in their game against Sidigas AV in the Italian Serie A. He recorded 9 points. His team lost 81-85. This year Della Valle averages 8.4ppg and 1.5rpg in 11 games.
Evan Ravenel (6’9”-C/F-89, graduated ’13, currently in Japan) led Fukushima to a victory over the fifth-ranked Bambitious Nara crushing them 97-67 in the Japanese B2 League last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Ravenel had a double-double by scoring 27 points and getting 19 rebounds. He also added 6 assists. Ravenel has very impressive stats this year 21.3ppg, 9.5rpg and 3.1apg in 27 games.
Amir Williams (6’11”-C-92, graduated ’15, plays in Uruguay) was not able to help one of league’s weakest teams Hebraica (1-8) in their last game on Thursday. Despite his very good performance Hebraica was defeated 92-83 in a derby game by the second-ranked Olimpia. Williams scored 15 points, had 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Williams has relatively good stats this season 10.3ppg and 5.7rpg.
Zisis Sarikopoulos (7’0”-C-90, graduated ’10, currently in Belarus), who plays in Belarus was not able to secure a victory for Tsmoki-Minsk (2-8) in their last game. Despite Sarikopoulos’ very good performance Tsmoki-Minsk was badly defeated 88-69 in Kazan by the much higher-ranked (#3) Unics. He had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 11 rebounds. Sarikopoulos also added 3 blocks in 30 minutes. This year Sarikopoulos averages 9.0ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1bpg in 10 games.
Jae’Sean Tate (6’4”-F-95, graduated ’18, plays pro in Belgium) helped Telenet Giants Antwerp win their game against the league outsider Leuven Bears crushing them 90-63 in the Belgian Euromillions League last Wednesday. He was MVP of the game. Tate scored 15 points and had 3 steals. Tate has relatively good stats this season 12.9ppg, 3.7rpg and 2.2apg.
David Lighty (6’6”-G/F-88) plays for ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket in French ProA – led his French team ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket to a 2-point victory against the third-ranked Lokomotiv (0-1) 67-65 in the Eurocup on Wednesday night. He recorded 15 points, 3 assists and 3 steals. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (1-0) is placed first in group F. This year Lighty averages 9.1ppg, 2.1rpg, 3.3apg and 1.1spg in 10 games.
Daequan Cook (6’5”-G/F-87) plays for Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona in Israeli Winner League – couldn’t help Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona (5-7) in their game last Wednesday.
