NCAA TICKET PUNCHING
Seventy-eight automatic bids to the 2019 NCAA Championships will be up for grabs in Minneapolis. The B1G total is 25 more than the next closest as 53 berths have been allocated for the Big 12. Of the Big Ten’s 78 automatic bid allocations, Ohio State earned 10 of them (one at each weight) for the conference. Missouri is the only other school in the country to earn spots for all 10 weight classes.

RECENT B1G CHAMPIONSHIPS HISTORY HAS BEEN KIND TO OHIO STATE
The Buckeyes have claimed three conference crowns in the last four seasons (2015, 2017, 2018), including a 164.5-point performance a year ago representing the most team tallies scored in 16 years (Minnesota, 174.0 in 2002) at the Big Ten Championships. Seventy percent of the lineup advanced to the finals with four champions and three runner-ups. Ohio State won B1G team titles in 1923 and 1951 as well.
MCKENNA & MOORE | CONFERENCE KINGS
Joey McKenna and Kollin Moore have never dropped a bout in the conference championships. McKenna won back-to-back Pac-12 titles while at Stanford before shutting out his opposition with zero points allowed en route to his Big Ten podium ascent last season. Moore has gone 7-for-7 at the B1G Championships thus far, capturing a pair of conference gold medals as a freshman and sophomore.
THIRTEEN REMAIN UNDEFEATED
Myles Martin is one of only 13 wrestlers nationally to own a flawless season record (10-match minimum) entering the postseason. Martin is 17-0 with eight wins over top-20 opponents. Oklahoma State’s Preston Weigel is 8-0 as well.
SENIOR CLASS 2019
Ohio State’s four-man senior class of Te’Shan Campbell, Micah Jordan, Myles Martin and Joey McKenna has accumulated impressive numbers in their careers and combined for:
-Seven All-America honors
-390-79 (.832) career record
-292-57 (.837) record as Buckeyes
-244 bonus-point wins (92 major decisions, 83 tech falls, 69 pins)
-75-20 (.789) Big Ten dual mark
This group is also 12-for-12 in qualifying for the NCAA Championships over the past three seasons.
POUND-FOR-POUND
FloWrestling maintains a `pound-for-pound’ Top-20 and Ohio State represents 20-percent of the group. The Buckeyes included are No. 6 Myles Martin, No. 12 Joey McKenna, No. 13 Kollin Moore and No. 16 Micah Jordan.
IN THE FLAMES WITH MICAH JORDAN
The last nine duals went swimmingly for Micah Jordan. He averaged 4.9 team points earned per bout with three pins, three tech falls and two major decisions.
MARTIN BOASTS BIG BONUS TOTALS
Myles Martin has failed to notch bonus points just five times this season and has posted only 12 decisions in 48 wins over the past two seasons combined. The Buckeye senior has secured bonus points in 36 bouts as an upperclassman with 15 tech falls, 13 major decisions and eight pins since the start of the ‘17-18 campaign.
