COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State men's lacrosse players Kyle Foster and Jack Oldman will compete with their respective countries at the 2025 World Lacrosse Men's U20 Championship set for Aug. 15-24 on Jeju Island in Korea.
Foster will play for Team USA while Oldman suits up for Team Canada. The players are rising juniors for the Buckeyes with Foster a defenseman and Oldman at the faceoff X.
"This is an incredible opportunity for Kyle and Jack, and I couldn't be prouder to have these men representing our program on the world stage." Ohio State head coach Nick Myers said. "Competing for your country is one of the greatest honors in sport and it's a testament to their hard work both on and off the field. My time coaching Team USA was one of the greatest honors of my life and I know the memories these men will make will a lifetime."
Foster was a starter on the Buckeye defense that finished the 2025 season allowing under 10 goals per game, good for top 10 nationally. He caused 11 turnovers and picked up 10 ground balls last season during the Buckeyes' Big Ten championship campaign.
Oldman led the team, and Big Ten, with 123 ground balls in 2025 and finished his sophomore season second in the league with 7.2 ground balls per game. He ended the year with a .499 faceoff win percentage.
