Jaloni Cambridge Named to Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll

Cambridge tied her career-high 33 points against Northern Kentucky this past Thursday.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference announced its weekly women's basketball awards on Monday. Sophomore guard Jaloni Cambridge was named to the weekly honor roll for the second time this season after her play against Northern Kentucky and Toledo.
Cambridge led the Buckeyes to a pair of wins this week, averaging 22.5 points, 5.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game. She shot 10-of-10 from the charity stripe and an even 50 percent from the field this week.
In the win against Northern Kentucky, Cambridge tied her career-high 33 points and 12 made field goals. She added a season-high four steals, six rebounds and a pair of assists. Her four steals helped the Buckeyes break their single-game steals record with 27 steals in the game. In the win against Toledo, Cambridge recorded a career-high eight assists, matched her season-high four steals and also scored in double figures as she's done in each of the Buckeyes' first 10 games this season.
Cambridge ranks fourth in the conference and top 20 in the nation this season with 20.6 points per game. She also ranks fifth in the conference with 8.3 field goals made per game and is tied for eighth with 2.4 steals per game.
