Jaloni Cambridge Named to Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll

The sophomore averaged 20.7 points in three wins last week and was named Pink Flamingo Classic MVP.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference announced its weekly women's basketball awards on Monday. Sophomore guard Jaloni Cambridge was named to the Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll for the first time this season and third time in her career.
Cambridge led the Buckeyes to a perfect 3-0 week last week. She averaged 20.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 53.3 percent from the floor. Cambridge was named MVP of the Baha Mar Pink Flamingo Classic and to the all-tournament team for her play against Belmont and No. 21/20 West Virginia.
In the win against Belmont, Cambridge scored a season-high 26 points to lead the game and added six rebounds, two assists and two steals. In the Buckeyes' first ranked win of the season against the Mountaineers, she finished with 22 points and three rebounds. Despite playing only 15 minutes in a record-setting win against Niagara back home on Sunday, Cambridge recorded 14 points, tied her season-high six assists, totaled five rebounds and two steals while shooting 6-of-8 (.750) from the floor.
This season, Cambridge leads Ohio State with 19.9 points and 3.3 assists per game and ranks second on the team with 5.7 rebounds per game. She ranks fifth in the conference in scoring.
