Won a state championship as a senior at Mechanicsburg High School
Cam Standish will begin her field hockey career at Ohio State this fall the same way she ended it at Mechanicsburg High School last fall: as a winner.
Standish, a member of the Max Field Hockey Top 100 list for the Class of 2023, led her squad to a 21-4-1 record as a senior and played her best when the stakes were the highest. In the state semifinals vs. Villa Maria, she found the back of the cage for the game-winning goal. One win later, her team secured a state championship.
Outside of the high school ranks, Standish was selected for the AUU Junior Olympic Games, Stars and Stripes Elite Game and 2021 Nexus Championship. She is one of seven Pennsylvania natives of this year's roster, making the Keystone State the most-represented this year.
