Coaching Staffs Announced for the 2003 Spring Football Game – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State football head coach Jim Tressel has named the honorary coaching staffs for the 2003 Spring Football Game. The coaching staffs are comprised of former Ohio State football players who currently are in the NFL or recently have concluded their professional careers. Highlighting the list of current NFL players scheduled to appear are 1995 Heisman Trophy winner and Tennessee Titan Eddie George, 1995 Biletnikoff Award winner and Dallas Cowboy Terry Glenn, fellow Cowboy receiver Joey Galloway, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Shawn Springs and New England Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabel.
Headlining the list of former NFL stars scheduled to serve as coaches for the game include Keith Byars, Chris Spielman, Mike Tomczak and Steve Tovar.
Also at halftime, Joey Galloway will present a check to the university for $100,000 to establish The Galloway Family Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a student-athlete attending OSU and competing in a varsity sport.
