
J.K. Dobbins Selected in Second Round by Baltimore Ravens

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft Friday evening. Dobbins, the 55th overall selection, is the fourth Buckeye selected in the draft this year after three of his teammates were selected in the first round Thursday evening.
Dobbins set the Ohio State single-season record in 2019 when he rushed for 2,003 yards and helped the Buckeyes win their third consecutive outright Big Ten title. He also scored 21 rushing touchdowns.
Dobbins was spectacular vs. the best defenses Ohio State faced this past year. He averaged 174.6 yards per game against six defenses that were ranked among the Top 13 rush defenses in the nation at the time they faced Ohio State.

J.K. Dobbins has the second-most receptions by an Ohio State running back in school history, trailing only Keith Byars. Dobbins caught 71 passes in his three-year career with three consecutive years of 20-or-more receptions. Byars caught 72 passes during his career.
