Football Player’s Surgery Successful – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Today, Ohio State football player Nate Clements (So., Shaker Heights, Ohio) underwent successful surgery on his left foot to repair a fracture of the fifth metatarsal. The surgery was performed by Dr. Chris Kaeding at The Ohio State University Hospitals. %^$
%^$Bill Davis, Ohio State head athletic trainer, said the operation went without any complications and the current prognosis is for a full recovery. %^$
%^$Clements, who fractured the bone on Wednesday playing in a pickup basketball game, started all 12 games at cornerback last year and finished second on the team with 90 tackles. He was an honorable-mention all-Big Ten selection.
