Zeke Tough on Defenses
After a 53 yard performance Week One, Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott has surpassed 100 yards in each of the last two games. In a 31-6 win over Miami, he put up 125 yards on the ground, his best game of the season. The front-man of Dallas’ new backfield combo, Zeke also caught two passes for 14 yards. Ezekiel Elliott on the 1-2 punch of him and Tony Pollard: “It’s great. If I’m tired or a little banged up or something I come out and he comes in and he’s gashing them. It’s got to be tough on defenses. Good luck to them trying to deal with that the rest of the season.”

Scoop and Score
Two of the five former Buckeyes on New Orleans’ roster, CB Eli Apple and S Vonn Bell, combined to create a huge defensive touchdown. Apple knocked the ball loose before Bell scooped it and sprinted 33 yards for a score. The Saints survived a Seahawks comeback bid to win 33-27 in Seattle. (Image courtesy: neworleanssaints.com)
All Ohio State on that one. Eli Apple caused the fumble. Vonn Bell with the recovery and return for a touchdown.

Possible Punt of the Year
Eagles P Cameron Johnston is making his case for the best punter in the league. Not only is he off to a record-setting start to his second NFL season, his third-quarter punt against the Lions on Sunday completely flipped the field and helped spark a Philadelphia surge. Johnston’s Eagles fell just short at home, 27-24. (Image courtesy: philadelphiaeagles.com)

Cameron Johnston’s hot start this year [51.9 average] has moved him into the all-time #1 spot in NFL history in punting average.
He’s at 48.53, with Michael Dickson of the Seahawks — who had the lead coming into the season — second at 48.22.

Malcolm, the Man
Speaking of Eagles special teams, Philadelphia S Malcolm Jenkins preserved his team’s best chance at a comeback by blocking a Lions field goal late in the fourth quarter. (Image courtesy: philadelphiaeagles.com)

Touchdown Terry!
Redskins WR Terry McLaurin was a bright spot for Washington in a 31-15 prime time loss to Chicago. The rookie has flashed greatness so far by becoming the first rookie wide-out with five-plus catches and a TD in each of his first three games. (Image courtesy: redskins.com)
