Athletes of the Week
• Katie Dull of the women’s volleyball team was named the most valuable player of the William & Mary Tribe Invitational after averaging team-highs of 4.58 points and 4.08 kills per set in Ohio State’s four matches last weekend. She recorded double-doubles against Maryland-Eastern Shore (13 kills, 10 digs) and William & Mary (19 kills, 18 digs). Her 18 digs against the Tribe was a career high. In the four matches she hit a team-high .373 and had a season-high .528 (8-1-13) against North Carolina A&T.
• In just her second game as a Buckeye, Berta Queralt, a freshman on the field hockey team, recorded her first career multiple goal game, tallying seven points on two goals and three assists vs. Saint Louis Aug. 30 at North Turf Field to earn her first Co-Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor. The native a Barcelona, Spain, earned starts in both of Ohio State’s games last weekend and scored on two of her three shots vs. the Billikens. Queralt is just one of four Buckeyes who has notched seven points or more in a single game since 2001. Her three assists in a single game are the most since Jenee Doto (2000-03) and Cammie Trainer (2001-04) each had three helpers vs. Radford Sept. 7, 2003.

• After collecting nearly 151 tons of recyclable materials at home games during the last two Ohio State football seasons, the University’s Scarlet, Gray and Green sustainability campaign will once again foster an environmentally friendly gameday atmosphere on campus this fall.
