OHIO STATE MEN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM CAMP
You are invited to our inaugural TEAM camp. This camp will give teams the opportunity to learn and incorporate some of the most advanced and innovative systems and tactics in the men’s game. Our TEAM camp will be run by our four full time coaches on staff, and teams will be paired up with one of our current rostered players to coach them throughout the camp.
This camp is for High School teams only. Individuals without a team are not able to attend. High School coaches interested in attending camp must email Hudson Bates Bates.592@osu to begin the registration process.

Session 1: 6:00-8:30pm Team Offense Systems
Sunday, February 22nd
Session 2: 9:00-11:30am Team Defense Systems
Lunch Break: 11:30am-12:30pm
Session 3: 12:30-3:00pm Game/Tournament Play

Enrollment
The fee for OSU MVB TEAM camp is $150 per athlete and $150 for additional coaches, with a minimum of 10 athletes per roster. This fee will include one lunch on Feb 22nd, provided by OSU. Each team will be given one free registration for a coach. If additional coaches would like to participate they will be required to pay $150. This camp is for High School teams only. High school coaches interested in attending camp must email Hudson Bates Bates.592@osu to begin the registration process. After Coach Bates gives you the okay your athletes may register online at the top of this page by clicking on ‘Register Now’. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations.
Discounts
We are not able to provide any discounts for this camp. If a team has less than 10 athletes, they will still be required to pay the difference. Each team will be given one free registration for a coach. If additional coaches would like to participate, they will be required to pay an additional $150.
Equipment
All campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment. No equipment will be provided to ANY teams. Water and volleyballs will be provided.
Meals and Housing
There will be one meal provided on the second day of camp as described above. A campus tour, film session, spike ball, and other various games will be provided during the lunch break on day 2. This is a commuter camp, thus no overnight accommodations will be provided. Teams are responsible for providing their own overnight accommodations if needed.
Required Forms for Participation
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Campers will not be permitted to participate without these forms.
Confirmation
Once your registration is approved, you will be emailed with a confirmation of payment notice. A packet of “Important Information” will be emailed to all registrants one week prior to camp. This packet will contain schedule details, check in/pick up instructions, and all other logistics needed. This information will also be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps-and-clinics. Please check your email regularly as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.
Refunds
A refund less a $100 administrative fee will be issued for any cancellation received at least 3 weeks prior to the start of camp. Cancellations within 3 weeks of camp, will not be refunded, unless a team on the waitlist is able to replace the cancellation.
Because we have a limit of 8 teams per division, any cancellation received within 3 weeks prior to the start of camp, will not be eligible for any refund.
A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other team. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and submitted by email – no phone calls or voicemails. All supporting documentation required for a refund to be approved and processed must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Campers who are injured while at camp will not be eligible for a refund.
More Information
Camp will be headquartered at the Covelli Center located at 2640 Fred Taylor Dr., Columbus, OH 43210. The exact check-in location will be the Ticket Counter located in the southwest entrance of Covelli.
