Grab a team and come on out to Buckeye varsity field, home of the Ohio State Buckeyes, for your chance to win the Columbus Cup! This 11 v11 adult tournament will take place on May 30th and 31st. See below for more information!

Date: Saturday, May 30th &Â Sunday, May 31st
Ages: You must be 18 years or older to participate
Location:Â Buckeye Varsity Field
Cost: $2,000 per team
Saturday May 30th:
- Games between 7:30 am – 7:30 pm.
- Each team will play 4 games, 25 minutes each – no halftime -to get placed in rank order – 1 through 12, and place into 3 brackets: Championship (1-4), Middle Tier (5-8), Wooden Spoon (9-12)
- 3 points for a win, 1 for a tie.
- Tie breakers: Points, head to head, goal differential (capped at 5), goals against, goals for, shoot-out, if necessary.
- SOCIAL:Â Saturday Night Social (Location TBD)
Sunday May 31st:
- Games between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM
- Each team will play 2 games, 36 min game (18-minute halves). Semi-final and final for each tier of games.Â
- Shoot-out to determine winners after ties – best of 3 (minimum 2 women in shootout) – after 3, alternate male/female – sudden victory.
- 6 games total. 4 on Saturday (25 mins each) 2 on Sunday (36 mins each – 18 min halves). Running clock
- Roster minimum: 11. Roster Maximum: 18. No borrowing players. If you borrow a player or GK the highest you can place is fifth.
- 11 v 11 full field, 5 men maximum on the field at one time (field players). GK can be any sex/gender.
- 12 Team maximum in the tournament. Ranking games on Saturday, Medal games on Sunday
- Participants must be 18 years or older (NCAA rules apply for collegiate players)
- In the case of inclement weather, we will adjust the schedule/shorten games to best preserve tournament integrity & maximum games for all participants. No refunds.

The fee for the Columbus Cup is $2,000 per team. Full payment is required at the time of registration. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps-and-clinics. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations. If registering by mail, please make checks payable to The Ohio State University. Your registration is confirmed with receipt of full payment. EACH TEAM MUST HAVE A DESIGNATED CAPTAIN.
Only one registration per team is necessary. The team Captain will submit a roster with everyone’s contact information. Team members will then be sent a link to sign a medical waiver and fill out some additional information. If a late team member is added or electronic forms are not completed – this can be done at the field prior to participating. All forms must be complete before participation is permitted.
Refunds (minus a $200 processing fee) are available until April 11th. There are NO REFUNDS after April 11th.
All participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment. All teams must have a light and dark color uniform top.
No meals will be provided. We will look into finding a hotel block and will communicate this information to the team captains as it becomes available.Â
All participants will be required to complete a medical waiver. An electronic waiver will be sent to each athlete via email close to the tournament to be signed.or you can complete during check in for the tournament.
