Buckeye Winter Skills Clinics (Hitting, Defense, Pitching/Catching)
Come spend the day getting drills and instruction to help improve your game. Each clinic is designed to help every athlete, regardless of age or skill level, to take home information and drills to improve their game in each area.

Pitching & Catching Clinic (Ages 12 & Up)
Our pitching instruction will focus on the fundamentals of throwing fast pitch and will be geared toward increasing speed and gaining control of pitches. Pitchers will also have an opportunity to learn several different pitch grips and techniques for throwing.
Catchers will cover different techniques of blocking, framing, bunt coverage, steal/pickoff throws, along with game situational strategies.
All players will learn the purpose and strategy for throwing various pitches and how to work them together.
Pitchers must bring their own catchers who are not attending the clinic (can be regular catcher or a family member).
Due to NCAA rules all prospect-aged camp participants must pay to participate in any institutional camp. All prospect-aged (Grades 7-12) Catchers coming with their Pitchers will be charged $20 and per NCAA rules will also receive instruction from the camp staff. We will collect $20 day of camp at check-in.

Buckeye Elite Prospect Identification Camp (Ages 12 & Up)
Come showcase your skills in this camp structured around game-like simulations. From live bp, machine work, live at-bats off pitchers, defensive skill evaluations, and baserunning evaluations, coaches will put athletes in game-like situations to assess skills and softball IQ. This camp is meant to put the athlete in front of the coaches in the most game-like environments to evaluate competition. There is a maximum capacity of 60 position players for this camp and a capacity of 16 primary pitchers.

Important Information
Enrollment
There is a maximum number of campers permitted, so register early! Full payment is required at the time of registration. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations. There will be no walk-ups permitted for this camp, all participants must register in advance.
Equipment
All campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment. No equipment will be provided to ANY camper. Campers will need to bring either molded cleats, turfs, or running shoes.
Meals and Housing
Lunch will not be provided. This is a day camp only and no overnight accommodations will be provided. Campers are responsible for providing their own overnight accommodations if needed. Hotel information can be provided upon request.
Required Forms for Participation
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Campers will not be permitted to participate without these forms.
Confirmation
Once your registration is approved, you will be emailed with a confirmation of payment notice. One week prior to camp, you will also be sent an email with important camp details. This information will also be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Please check your email regularly as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.
Refunds
A refund less a $30 administration fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. The administration fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.
Because we have to guarantee the number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of each session will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.
A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and received by phone or email. All refund requests must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. This form is found on the homepage all the way at the bottom in red letters “Request a Refund”. Campers who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.

Camp will be headquartered at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center located at 535 Irving Schottenstein Dr., Columbus, OH 43210. The exact check-in location will be determined as camp gets closer.
