
Ohio State to Host Summer Football Camps Next Month

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State football program will welcome campers back to Columbus this summer, starting in June, for a series of single-day camps.
All of the camps will be held at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center with instruction exclusively by Ohio State football staff members. No outside staff will be permitted due to COVID-19 university guidelines.
Other University COVID protocols this summer are as follows:
- No parents, coaches or spectators are allowed on site
- Ohio State will follow local, state and CDC guidance regarding mask wearing
- Campers will be put into small cohorts during the camp
- All campers and staff are required to submit a daily assessment of symptoms and will have their temperature checked on site prior to checking in

The first camps are slated for Tuesday, June 1 and Monday, June 7. They will be open to youth entering grades five through eight in the fall of 2021 at a cost of $50. It’s open to any and all entrants and limited only by capacity, age, grade level and/or gender. No helmet is required and all campers will receive lunch and a t-shirt.
Ohio State’s high school camps are open to those entering ninth grade and up in the fall of 2021. There are six dates, all in the month of June, for those interested: June 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th and 22nd. The cost to attend is $20.
The high school camps will be split into two sessions: one for big men (offensive and defensive linemen) in the morning and another for skill positions (quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, defensive backs, linebackers, tight ends) in the afternoon. Like the youth camp, lunch and a camp t-shirt will be provided. Helmets are required. It’s also open to any and all entrants and limited only by capacity, age, grade level and/or gender.
