COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State swimming and diving teams completed the first day of the Ohio State Winter Invitational on Friday at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion, with the men recording multiple NCAA times.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State swimming and diving teams completed the first day of the Ohio State Winter Invitational on Friday at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion, with the men recording multiple NCAA times.
Women's Meet Notes
- Susie Lee swam the top time in the 500 free during both prelims (4:51.34) and finals (4:51.79).
- Bella Fisco swam a time of 2:03.68 in the 200 IM finals, improving over three seconds on her prelims time of 2:06.78.
- Annie Krusinski (23.28) and Erin Fentress (23.58) both swam in the 50 free finals.
- The 400 medley relay team of Lee, Fisco, Krusinski and Fentress finished in 3:44.89.
- In 50 free prelims, Daniel Baltes (19.06), Matt Klinge (19.43) and Mario McDonald (19.60) all turned in NCAA B cuts. McDonald swam an NCAA B cut again in finals, touching at 19.68.
- The relay team of Klinge, Baltes, McDonald and Evan Fentress swam an automatic NCAA qualifying time of 1:15.84 in the 200 free relay.
- Josh Bedford and Reid Caswell advanced to the finals of the 500 free. Bedford finished in 4:22.86 and Caswell finished in 4:24.39.
- Luke Paxton (1:46.12), Eli Stoll (1:47.51) and Luke Vickers (1:48.80) went 1-2-3 in the 200 IM.
- The 400 medley relay team of Paxton, Rylan McDaniel, Stoll and Caswell finished in a time of 3:13.79.
- The Ohio State Winter Invitational continues Feb. 15-16 at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. Prelims will begin at 11:00 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Finals will get underway at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
