Webster Named to NFHCA Division I Senior Team

Led Ohio State in goals, points and assists for the second consecutive season
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State graduate forward and leading scorer Makenna Webster is along 38 student-athletes from 30 different programs nationwide to be selected to the 2024 NFHCA Senior Team.
Webster, from St. Louis, lead Ohio State in goals (16), assists (10) and points (42) for the second consecutive year. She earned first team All-Big Ten honors and finished third in the conference in points, goals and assists.
Over her three-year career, Webster compiled 102 points in 57 games. She had back-to-back 40-point seasons in 2023 and 2024, respectively, scoring 32 goals and adding 23 assists in that span. Her play helped Ohio State to a 28-11 record over the last two seasons with 10 wins over ranked opponents.
Webster earned her undergraduate degree in communications last May and is currently enrolled in graduate school. She's also a member of Ohio State's national championship-winning women's ice hockey team. Last weekend, she scored a goal in the Buckeyes' 3-2 win over No. 1 Wisconsin at the OSU Ice Rink. While splitting her time between field hockey and ice hockey in October and November, Webster has played in nine games and scored three goals with two assists.
The Buckeyes have had a Senior Team honoree in each of the last eight years: Maddy Humphrey (2017), Kelsey Nolan (2018), Esther Alsina (2019), Nikki Trzaska (2020), Emma Goldean (2021), Grace Kim (2022), Leanne Bough (2023) and Webster (2024).
