
Nine Buckeyes Garner CRCA Scholastic All-America Honors

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Nine Ohio State rifle student-athletes earned Scholastic All-America recognition from the CRCA (College Rifle Coaches Association) this week. They are: John Hamilton (air transportation), Tyler Hanson (communication), Paige Hollowell (linguistics and romance studies), Evan Horgan (marketing), Natalie Katsuyama (medical anthropology), Viktor Kiss (international studies and philosophy, politics and econ), Joel Potts (finance), Frank Steyn (public health) and Nathan Wehrlen (hospitality management).
“We’re extremely proud of this group,” said head rifle coach Ryan Tanoue. “Balancing the demands of being a student-athlete isn’t easy so to celebrate their success is important. Inside and outside of the classroom, they’ve set a high standard for us.”
Athletes eligible to receive this award must be eligible for competition through the awarding academic year and have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade-point average.
