
D’Emilio and Jordan Receive NCAA At-Large Bids

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The NCAA announced on Tuesday evening the full championship field for the 2021 NCAA Wrestling Championships and two Buckeyes – Dylan D’Emilio and Rocky Jordan – received at-large bids.
D’Emilio and Jordan join Malik Heinselman, Sammy Sasso, Ethan Smith, Kaleb Romero and Tate Orndorff, making seven total Buckeyes to compete next week in St. Louis.
D’Emilio is 7-6 on the season in the 141-pound weight class. He was 2-3 in duals this season with a major decision and a tech fall. He also went 3-2 at the Big Ten Championships last weekend and won the ninth-place match. Jordan, a redshirt-sophomore, is 5-8 on the season and went 4-5 in Big Ten duals matches with a pair of wins over ranked opponents.
The event runs March 18-20 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis. Seeding and brackets for this year’s championship will be revealed tomorrow, March 10, during the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships Selection Show on NCAA.com at 6 p.m. ET.
