SECOND MOST PICKS SINCE 2000
Ohio State’s nine draft picks were the second most of any school, just one behind Alabama. Since 2000, the Buckeyes have produced 62 total draft picks and 15 first-rounders – both totals that are No. 2 in the nation.

BOSA OFF THE BOARD EARLY
When he was picked No. 2 overall by San Francisco, Nick Bosa entered elite company. Only three Buckeyes – each the first overall pick of the draft – out of 444 previous draft picks have been selected ahead of Bosa: OT Orlando Pace in 1997; DT Dan Wilkinson in 1994 and LB Tom Cousineau in 1979.
EIGHT FIRST-ROUND PICKS FOR JOHNSON
The Bosa brothers – Nick and Joey – represent the seventh and eighth players, respectively, coached by Ohio State associate head coach/defensive line coach Larry Johnson to be drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft. The total includes six of his Penn State Nittany Lions, including overall No. 1 pick Courtney Brown in 2000.
At Ohio State, Johnson has coached eight players who have gone on to be drafted. In addition to Bosa, DT Dre’Mont Jones was a third-round pick of the Denver Broncos.
BUCKEYES TIE USC FOR MOST NO. 1s
Haskins and teammate Nick Bosa, the second overall pick of the draft by San Francisco, give Ohio State multiple first-round picks for the fourth consecutive year, and 81 total first-round picks to tie USC for the most of all-time.

MULTIPLE NO. 1 PICKS
Ohio State is the only school with multiple first-round draft picks over the last four years. In that span, the Buckeyes have produced 11 first-round selections.
HASKINS FIRST B1G FIRST ROUND QB SINCE ‘95
Haskins’ selection by the Washington Redskins (No. 15 overall) in the first round ends a 24-year drought of no Big Ten Conference quarterbacks being selected in the first round of the NFL Draft. Penn State’s Kerry Collins was the last: taken No. 5 overall by Carolina in 1995. Haskins is the third Buckeye quarterback to be selected in the first round, and the first since Art Schlichter went No. 4 overall in 1982 to the Baltimore Colts.
MCLAURIN, CAMPBELL GIVE OHIO STATE MOST WRs TAKEN SINCE ‘00
A pair of Buckeye wide receivers – Parris Campbell (second round to Indianapolis) and Terry McLaurin (third round to Washington) went off the board early on Friday. Their selections give Ohio State 19 wide receivers drafted since 2000, the most of any school.

PRINCE, JORDAN GO ON DAY THREE
With the selections of Michael Jordan (fourth round to Cincinnati) and Isaiah Prince (sixth round to Miami), Ohio State’s had multiple offensive linemen drafted in each of the last two years. Since 2012, a total of 10 Buckeye offensive linemen have heard their names called at the draft. Ohio State’s had an OL selected in seven of the last eight drafts.
