Among the standouts …  Â
- Two graduates – Quinn Pitcock from football and Tommy Nappier from men's hockey – went through the athletics department's degree completion program to finish their requirements.
- Pitcock, a four-year letterwinner from 2003-06, was a consensus First Team All-American as a senior. He went on to be a third-round pick in the NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts.
- Nappier and defenseman Matt Miller were both part of the 2018 men's hockey squad that reached the NCAA Frozen Four and the 2019 team that claimed the Big Ten regular season title. As a sophomore, Nappier was the 2019 Big Ten Goaltender of the Year and a first-team All-Big Ten selection. He was an honorable mention all-league pick as a junior. Miller earned B1G All-Tournament Team honors in 2018 and guided the Buckeye defense that ranked in the Top 15 nationally each of his last three years.
- Two women's volleyball All-Americans are set to graduate in Emily Londot and Rylee Rader. Londot was the 2020 AVCA National and Big Ten Freshman of the Year and is a three-time AVCA All-American and four-time all-league honoree. Rader was a 2021 All-American and is a four-time all-conference selection, earning all-region honors twice. The duo helped Ohio State its first NCAA Regional Final appearance since 2004 during the 2022 campaign.Â
- Among the 15 football players who will receive degrees are starting wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, Big Ten Conference tight end of the year Cade Stover, starting safety Lathan Ransom, starting linebacker Cody Simon and the now-retired Harry Miller.
- Jenna Buglioni has been a key part of the most successful era in Ohio State women's hockey as a member of the 2022 WCHA Final Faceoff and national title team and the 2023 WCHA regular season championship team. An assistant captain this year, she has helped the Buckeyes to back-to-back national title games, three straight Frozen Fours and program-record win seasons the last two years.
- Men's fencer Jack Price was a First Team All-American in 2023 after reaching the national semifinals in his first appearance at the NCAA Championships. He also earned First Team All-CCFC and Honorable Mention All-Region honors in 2023. The Buckeye men won conference team titles each of his three seasons.
- Jacy Sheldon was a women's basketball AP Honorable Mention All-American in 2022, the same year she was a regional finalist for the WBCA Coaches' All-America Team and was named to the All-Big Ten First Team and Defensive Team. She helped lead the Buckeyes to the 2022 Big Ten regular season championship and the program's first NCAA Elite Eight in 30 years in 2022-23 season. Sheldon ranks in the Top 20 in program history in 10 career categories despite a pair of shortened seasons.
- Justin Inacio is one of the Buckeyes' most successful faceoff players in men's lacrosse history. The 2019 co-Big Ten Specialist of the Year owns the Ohio State single game records for faceoffs won (30) and ground balls (19) and is first in career ground balls (357) and second in career faceoff percentage (.600) since 2003. He began his Buckeye career as the conference freshman of the year in 2018 and finished his career as a two-time All-American.
- Women's soccer standout Nina LeFlore was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, president of the student-athlete advisory council and participated in the Big Ten's Big Life Series: Selma to Montgomery. The immersive and transformational experience followed the steps of the United States civil rights movement during a trip to Alabama. Her teammate Emma Sears capped a stellar five-year career with First Team All-Big Ten honors in 2023. She is in the Top 12 in program history in both goals and points.
- Bryannia Murphy is a four-time USTFCCCA All-American, earning a spot on the first team for running a leg on the program record-setting 4x400m relay in both the indoor and outdoor NCAA Championships. Murphy is a three-time Big Ten Champion, winning the 4x400m relay in the 2022 and 2023 Big Ten Outdoor Championships and also winning the 400m in 2022. Murphy's points from the 400m and 4x400m relay heavily contributed to the Buckeye women breaking the Big Ten record for points scored in a Big Ten Outdoor Championship in 2022.Â
