Kevin Miller Signs with Fort Wayne Komets

Kevin Miller, a senior on the 2018 Ohio State men’s hockey Frozen Four team, has signed a contract with the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL.

Miller, a native of Stony Plain, Alberta, skated in 114 games for the Scarlet and Gray from 2015-18, scoring 24 goals (six gamewinners) and adding 16 assists for 40 points. As a senior, he had 12 points, with eight goals and four assists, in 38 games, with a +13 rating. He notched two goals – including the GWG – in the Buckeyes’ victory over Denver in the NCAA Midwest Regional Final.

He was a four-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection. Miller earned his bachelor’s degree in finance in Spring 2018.
