Dan joined The Ohio State University as an Assistant Sport Scientist in October 2021, following a stint as a strength and conditioning intern since May of that year. Prior to this, Dan gained experience in the field of sports science by working as a strength and conditioning intern with the football team at Western Michigan University, where he honed his skills in data analysis and athlete performance.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences (2018) and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology (2021), both from Western Michigan University. He is currently pursuing his second Master's degree in Sport Analytics, focusing on sport performance at the University of Mississippi, slated for completion in Spring 2024.

Dan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Performance and Sport Scientist (CPSS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Dan resides in Marysville, OH with his wife Sarah and their daughter Magnolia.
