Wright Tabbed as One of Nation’s Best Freshmen in ‘20

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Michael Wright was selected by a nationwide voting committee for Off the Block’s 10-member Freshman All-American Team. This season is the eighth year for the national award which represents the only Freshman All-American recognition presented in men’s collegiate volleyball.

Wright dished out 10.20 assists per set, ranking seventh overall in the NCAA and tops among fellow freshmen, while starting 15 of 18 matches. He was stellar defensively as well, slotted second on the squad with 1.73 digs per set and recording three double-doubles.
