Columbus, Ohio – Lindsey Adams and Sonia Ruzimovsky had singles victories for the Ohio State women’s tennis team Sunday as it concluded play at the Eck Classic in South Bend, Ind. Ruzimovsky also teamed with Kristin Messmer for the pair’s fourth doubles victory of the weekend.

In doubles, Ruzimovsky (Soph., Brooklyn, N.Y./Brooklyn Tech) and Messmer (So., Lutherville, Md./McDonogh) combined to beat Virginia’s Lauren Brech and Rachel Del Priore, 8-2, to close out a perfect 4-0 weekend.

In singles, Adams (Sr., Mercer Island, Wash./Mercer Island) topped Kristen James of Virginia, 6-2, 6-4, while Ruzimovsky picked up her second singles victory of the weekend by beating Bruch,2-6, 7-6, 1-0(3).

The Buckeyes return to action Thursday to take on the best of the Midwest at the ITA Midwest Regional in Minneapolis, Min.
