COLUMBUS, Ohio — After dropping a 1-0 decision to defending national champion Notre Dame April 9, the Ohio State women’s soccer team bounced back to defeat two-time defending Division II national champion Grand Valley State, 4-0, April 17 in Columbus.

Kristen Niederhaus put the Buckeyes on the board in the 55th minute off a set piece from 25 yards out. Then, four minutes later, Ohio State doubled its lead on an own goal before Tiffany Cameron made it 3-0 when she scored on a breakaway in the 62nd minute. Adrienne Poe-Hinton put the finishing touches on the victory in the 80th minute when she scored on a shot from 16 yards out.

The Buckeyes, 2010 College Cup semifinalists, wrap up their spring schedule at 1 p.m. May 1 at West Virginia.
