COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s basketball team is currently looking for male practice players to workout with the Buckeyes during the upcoming 2011-12 season. Tryouts will take place Tuesday, Oct. 4 in the practice gym of Value City Arena from 6-8 p.m.

Practice players must be full-time Ohio State students with previous basketball playing experience, be available for daily practices from 12:30-3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and provide a physical.

This is a great opportunity to continue playing basketball and be part of one of the nation’s top programs. You will also learn from some of the best coaches in the game, including head coach Jim Foster — the eighth-winningest active coach in Division I with 740 all-time wins. He has has led the Buckeyes to six Big Ten championships and a record nine consecutive NCAA tournaments.
