COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Micheala Moua scored 18 points and Marrita Porter added 16 and seven rebounds as No. 19 Ohio State beat Indiana 76-58 Sunday.
Lauren Shenk had 10 points off the bench for the Buckeyes (14-6 overall, 7-3 Big Ten), who shot 59 percent (31-of-53) from the floor while holding the Hoosiers to 36 percent (25-of-69).
Jill Chapman led Indiana (13-11, 2-8) with 24 points and 14 rebounds. Cindy Kerns added 14 points for the Hoosiers.
The Buckeyes, who led 38-29 at halftime, opened the second half with a 12-4 run. Moua started the spurt with a jumper and added a layup.
Indiana pulled within 56-49 on Dani Thrush’s 3-pointer with just under 9 minutes left, but the Buckeyes countered with a 14-2 run over the next 4 minutes that put them up 70-51 on Shenk’s jumper with 4:46 to play. Shenk also hit a 3-pointer as the Buckeyes pulled away.
