Women win Nine Medals at Virginia Challenge

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va – Your Ohio State Buckeyes traveled to the University of Virginia this weekend to compete in the 2019 Virginia Challenge. The meet was not scored but the women were able to claim nine medals and, the men took six. The two-day meet showed progression for the Buckeyes again, as almost two dozen athletes created new personal bests. Among those personal bests, was a new school record set by senior Julia Rizk. Rizk was able to beat her previous time of 4:18.25s and replace it with 4:15.88s in the 1,500m.
