Women take Silver at Commodore Classic


COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s cross country program competed and placed second out of 20 teams at the Commodore Classic hosted by Vanderbilt University this past Saturday Sept. 14. The Bucks ran a 6k and were able to score 92 points with a 4-6-25-26-34 placement led by senior Lainey Studebaker.

The women handled themselves well against a handful of teams who were either nationally ranked or receiving votes. It’s still early in the season and we are putting more pieces together each week. We are excited about the chemistry of this group and pleased with the way they executed the race plan.”
