COLUMBUS, Ohio The Ohio State women’s lacrosse team will have a new look in the 2008-09 season as it enters into a partnership with lacrosse equipment provider STX. In the new deal, the Buckeyes will be provided sticks, gloves, goggles, goalie equipment and balls from STX.

Ohio State in one of seven NCAA programs to be fully equipped with STX gear, joining lacrosse powerhouses Duke, Hopkins, Georgetown, Loyola, Maryland, Princeton and Syracuse.

As a department, Ohio State athletics is in the second year of a seven-year contract with Nike, which will continue to provide uniforms, workout gear and more for the women’s team.
