GREENSBORO, Georgia—Senior Daniel Wetterich put a bow on his superb performance at the Linger Longer Invitational, adding a final round 72 to go along with his two rounds of 70 over the first two days to finish four-under par and place eighth. His first two rounds featured 32 pars, four birdies, and zero bogeys to get him to four-under for the tournament. His final round was not quite as clean, carding a birdie and bogey to finish even on the front, then ran into some trouble early on the back nine but cleaned up with a birdie and his fourth eagle of the season down the stretch to finish even par. This marks Wetterich’s best finish of the season and his first tournament under par in his senior campaign.

Caleb Ramirez was also one of the top finishers of the tournament, finishing in a tie for 13th-place at two-under par. Ramirez carded a two-under 70 in the first round and a career low 68 in round two to move to six-under for the tournament before turning in a final round 76 that included his second eagle of the season.

Will Voetsch shot a pair of 75s in the first couple rounds and bounced back in round three with a one-under 71 to finish in 40th-place at five-over.

Sophomore Kevin Stone had an up and down tournament after sandwiching a second round 81 between a career low two-under 70 in the first and one-over 73 in the third round. Stone played a solid last round, turning in 11 pars and three birdies to finish eight-over in total and place 54th.

Will Grimmer completed the tournament 16-over par, after a final round 77 to finish in 75th-place.

The lone individual for the Buckeyes, Grant Engle, opened the tournament with an 81, but turned it around firing a 72 and 74 in the last two rounds to finish 61st at 11-over par.
